Jamaica Trading Co. LLC was established in 1994 in Dubai by Mr. Mahesh B. Lalwani, who is now its Chairman. From a humble and modest beginning, it has spread its roots in the export and import market by establishing another office in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Area in the year 2000.

Over time, the Company has grown from strength to strength and is now one of the most recognized and respectable faces in the photographic industry.

Having distributed world-renowned brands and understood the requirement of the masses, Jamaica, in 2010, decided to service its customers by acquiring the brand “Unomat.”

Jamaica now holds the copyright of UNOMAT® International Products worldwide. The UNOMAT® product spectrum ranges from photographic chemicals, batteries to thermal printers and consumables and media products.

Jamaica Trading Company has been the sole distributor of Hiti products from Taiwan (Dye Sublimation printers and consumables) in UAE and a host of countries in Africa since 2007. Jamaica (Unomat International fzco) is also a distributor of Canon in selected countries of Africa since 2016.
